The Bridgeway Senior Healthcare leadership team is comprised of exceptional professionals who share a passion for providing the individuals in our care with the highest quality experience. Our team has many years of experience in meeting the needs of our patients and families, but they are also advocates for the industry on the local, state and national level through their involvement in trade associations.

Donald Pelligrino
Owner and CEO

Donald Pelligrino is the owner and CEO of Bridgeway Senior Healthcare and has been working in the healthcare field for more than 37 years. 

Don’s career at Bridgeway began with the development and building of the flagship location in Bridgewater. He is actively involved with the daily operations, working closely with each facility’s administrative and clinical staff, handling daily operations and vendor contracting.  Don is passionate about maintenance and housekeeping at all of the Bridgeway and Avalon locations, and he can frequently be found walking the floors and grounds to ensure that the facilities are kept neat and clean.

Don’s work at Bridgeway extends far beyond the doors of his four facilities though. Within his local community, Don sits on the board of Centerbridge Retirement Community; and is a board member at Care Associates Network, a network of more than 50 New Jersey senior care providers that facilitates credentialing and contracting with insurance companies and Medicare Advantage plans. He is also on the Executive Board of the Health Care Association of New Jersey and chairs the Nominating Committee. Through Don’s participation in the American Health Care Association’s Independent Owner’s Council, he has had involvement in national advocacy, policy making and reimbursement efforts that affect healthcare providers nationwide.
 
Don received his Bachelor of Science and Business Administration degrees from Seton Hall University and Masters of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He lives locally in Bridgewater and has three adult children and two grandchildren with whom he loves to spend his free time.

Jessica Pelligrino Tsoukalas
Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning

Jessica Pelligrino Tsoukalas is the Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning for Bridgeway Senior Healthcare. She is the third generation of her family to be involved with the business and has been with the company since 2011. She is involved with the administrative staff for all of Bridgeway’s communities and is focused on delivering superior customer service to all the residents, patients and families that Bridgeway serves. 

Jessica is also responsible for Bridgeway’s collaborations with other care providers throughout the continuum and is passionate about streamlining care delivery between providers. She serves as an Executive Committee member of the Health Care Association of New Jersey and is active on many committees nationally with the American Health Care Association and National Council for Assisted Living.

Jessica graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College with concentrations in finance and marketing. She lives in Bridgewater with her husband and two young children and enjoys watching HGTV in her spare time.

Donny Pelligrino
Financial Analyst

Donny Pelligrino is a Financial Analyst and joined the Bridgeway team in 2015. He is located in the business office and works closely with the administrative staff for all facilities. Donny  handles questions and concerns from residents and families and work closely with the billing department. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Villanova in 2012 with concentrations in Finance and Economics.
