Stroke Rehabilitation Program

The Stroke Rehabilitation program at Bridgeway focuses on recovery for patients who have been affected by a stroke, or TIA. Our staff creates customized care plans and works closely with patients each step of the way to make sure their recovery goes smoothly as they transition back to their normal routine.

We help patient's recovering from:

• Balance and mobility issues
• Muscle weakness
• Affected side weakness
• Trouble swallowing
• Memory problems
• Hand-eye coordination issues

Our services include (but are not limited to):

• Therapy available 7 days per week
• Electrical stimulation
• Coordinated “transition to home” program-incorporating pharmacy, medical equipment, education, and physician follow up appointments
• Virtual rehabilitation
• Assistive equipment and technologies
• Advanced pain management, including pharmacological intervention.
